These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Afterglow mobile application, Apple Watch companion application, website, and related services ("Afterglow"). By using Afterglow, you agree to these Terms.

1. Afterglow

Afterglow is a fitness, wellness, hydration, habit, and progress-tracking application designed to help users record workouts, track goals and commitments, monitor progress, and view information from supported devices and services.

2. Not Medical Advice

Afterglow is intended for general fitness, wellness, and informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information displayed by Afterglow, including heart rate, activity, sleep, readiness, recovery, calorie, hydration, or other health and fitness information, should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice or emergency medical care.

3. Health and Fitness Data

Certain features may access health, activity, fitness, or wellness information with your permission. You control whether supported permissions and integrations are enabled and may revoke access through Afterglow, your device settings, or the applicable third-party service where supported.

4. Third-Party Services

Afterglow may integrate with third-party products and services, including Apple Health, Apple Watch, and Oura. Your use of those products and services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Afterglow does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, operation, or policies of third-party services.

Oura data is accessed only after a user authorizes the connection. Users may revoke that authorization.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you choose to store in Afterglow, including progress photos, workout information, notes, goals, and other personal content.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Afterglow, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access, or use Afterglow in violation of applicable law.

7. Availability and Changes

Afterglow may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features as the application evolves. Features that depend on third-party platforms, devices, APIs, or services may change or become unavailable.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Afterglow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Health, fitness, wellness, and other information may contain inaccuracies or be affected by limitations of devices, sensors, third-party services, or user-provided information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Afterglow and its owner, operators, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of Afterglow. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

You may stop using Afterglow at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, its users, third-party services, or address violations of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Privacy

Your use of Afterglow is also subject to the Afterglow Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as Afterglow develops or as legal, platform, or third-party requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
